Article summary

Introduction
The potato is a vital crop globally, particularly in Iran. Nutrient management is crucial for successful potato production, especially in nutrient-deficient soils of cold steppe regions. The study investigates the impact of different fertilizers on potato growth, yield, and quality in the cold steppe of North West Iran.

Methods
The study was conducted in Sarab, East Azarbaijan Province, Iran. Two potato cultivars were tested under various fertilizer treatments in a randomized complete block design. The research focuses on two potato cultivars, ‘Agria’ and ‘Spirit’, and evaluates the effects of bio-organic, conventional, and nanofertilizers.

Results
- Plant Growth: Significant increases in plant height and stem number were observed with
super micro complete nano fertilizer .
- Tuber Yield:
super micro complete nano fertilizer
application led to the highest number of tubers per plant and overall yield.
- Nutritional Quality
: Enhanced nutritional characteristics were noted in tubers from plants treated with super micro complete nano fertilizer
The findings suggest that nanofertilizers can effectively enhance potato growth and yield in cold steppe regions, addressing nutrient deficiencies in the soil.
