Article summary

The research was carried out with the aim of investigating the effects of foliar spraying with micronutrientelements, chemical fertilizers: zinc sulfate and zinc nano-chelate on the quantitative yield and percentage of mucilage in the medicinal plant Balango Shirazi (Lallemantia royleana Benth). The experiment wascarried out in the form of a completely randomized design in three replications in a greenhouse in PakdashtVaramin, Golzar town - the greenhouse of medicinal plants of engineer Hadavand from April 25 to July20, 2019. The tested treatments include: zinc sulfate treatment at three levels (1000, 2000 and 4000mg/liter) and zinc nano chelate at three levels (500, 1000 and 1500 mg/liter) and control treatment(distilled water). The results of the variance analysis table showed that the fresh weight of the plant at the probability level of 1% and the dry weight of the plant at the probability level of 5% were affected by zincsulfate  treatment with  a  concentration of  2000  mg/liter. Also,  the  above  results  showed  that  the inflorescence length at the probability level of 1% and the  seed yield at the probability level of 5% weresignificant under the effect of zinc nano chelate treatment with a concentration of 1500 mg/liter. Theresults of comparing the average data showed that the fresh weight of the plant (22.7 g), the dry weight ofthe plant (10.63 grams) was affected by zinc sulfate treatment with a concentration of 2000 mg/liter. Also, inflorescence length (37.13 cm) and seed yield ( 2.88 g/pot) were significantly affected by zinc nano-chelate treatment with a concentration of 1500 mg/liter.
