The use of nano-fertilizers to precisely control the release of nutrients can be an effective step towards achieving sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture. In this study, the effect of nano-potassium fertilizer on growth parameters including leaf and node number, fresh weight, dry weight, root and shoot length, and physiological parameters including chlorophyll a, b, soluble sugars, and protein in the roots and leaves of wheat cultivar 8019N was investigated. To achieve this goal, the desired cultivar was cultivated under field conditions based on a randomized block design and in the early reproductive phase, the plant's aerial parts were foliar sprayed with nano-potassium fertilizer in three stages at three concentrations including 0.15, 0.3, and 0.6 percent, as well as zero (control). According to the results obtained, the number of leaves in foliar spraying with nano-potassium fertilizer at a concentration of 0.3 percent and the length of roots and shoots at a concentration of 0.15 percent showed a significant increase compared to other treatments and the control, while foliar spraying with the desired fertilizer did not produce a significant difference in the number of nodes and dry weight of roots. The results of this study also showed that the application of different concentrations of nano-potassium fertilizer significantly increased the content of chlorophyll a, b, soluble sugars, and protein in the leaves and roots of wheat plant cultivar 8019N compared to the control.
